Boris Mikhailov - Suzi Et Cetera

I first saw Boris Mikhalov's photos at an exhibition at the Barbican, they were pictures from his red series. Then like magic I find this perfect little book in a London bookshop.

The first one is a postcard I got at a thrift store, a pearl diver at sea world. The second photo I remembered today after finding it somewhere on the internet years ago. How powerful that after years it pops back into my brain, the sea and the sky all mixed together, an explosion like jellyfish ghosts.

- something pretty to clear the cobwebs of sickness, on monday I had surgery to have my gall bladder removed Ive been totally sick and now getting better so glittering swan eyes are my future AMEN
