I made ray a book for his birthday. on the last page there is a personalized word search!
the detroit zoo
i'm nostalgic for Michigan! the Detroit zoo is so great, the last time I was there it was the spring of 2006. peacocks were wandering around all over and flying into the trees. they would scream together all at once and it was thrilling and scary! this red panda lived in the randomest little pit. deer hung out with camels. tigers hanging out beside dripping norway spruces. plus it was spring time and there were exploding lilac bushes and blossoms everywhere.
